I can’t believe that it’s been over a year since my last blog. When I set up my website, I promised myself I would write something at least once a month – a big fat fail on that front!
However, it has been a very busy year. We’ve been on lots of trips away – many had been postponed from the previous two years – providing inspiration for quite a few new paintings. In a post-covid flurry of activity I have exhibited my work at Wymondham Arts Centre and at Blickling Hall, as well as participating in Norfolk Open Studios.

Most exciting of all, however, my ceramics workshop is now completed and well-stocked, and my new (second-hand) kiln has been wired in and comprehensively tested. I am delighted to report that technology has come on in leaps and bounds since my previous trusty old kiln was manufactured, with all its quirky idiosyncrasies. No longer do I have to stay up all night, repeatedly checking it hasn’t switched itself off or isn’t burning the house down!

So…. feeling very inspired, I have created a new range of ceramic sculptures which are now on my website, as well as many smaller items including Christmas decorations and bunting. I will be back in the Loft Gallery at Blickling Hall for the Norfolk Creations Christmas Market from 28 November to 18 December. I hope to see some of you there.
